Michael Bowman

Michael is a lifelong resident of the Cold Spring area and has served the community in many ways. He is an avid outdoorsman, photographer, hiker and kayaker and is just as comfortable answering questions about Cold Spring's historic building stock as he is giving directions to the top of Mount Taurus. He grew up in Cold Spring and earned his M.S. in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont in 2002, giving him special insight into all aspects of the area's unique community character, history and its development. Whether you're a first time buyer, long time resident or considering a relocation to the Hudson Valley region, Michael has the knowledge and experience to help you make an informed and educated decision about your new home. Over the years he has served on the Cold Spring Historic Review Board, the Village Boards of Cold Spring and Nelsonville, and is an active firefighter in the Cold Spring Fire Company and past President of the Department. He lives with his family in Nelsonville and is currently enjoying the adventure of new fatherhood.
